Our approach to architecture

We strongly believe that our bespoke service is the best way for us to meet the aspirations of our individual clients.  We’ll work closely with you every step of the way and because we know that the needs of each client are different, we offer the flexibility for you to appoint us for just some or all aspects of your project.

Our work as architects can be divided into approximately four stages with the first stage being the submission of a valid planning application. This can then be followed by the submission of an application to ensure your project meets with the relevant building regulations.

After these two stages have been completed, we can prepare detailed construction drawings and documents which can be used by you to obtain quotes from builders.  Once you’ve appointed a builder, the plans which we have prepared can be used by the builder to proceed with the construction phase of the project.

The final stage is our guidance and advice during your project construction.

We believe in offering our clients a flexible service which is why we’re happy for you to appoint us as many (or as few) stages, depending on your budget or requirements.

Our architect practice is based Yorkshire and over the years we’ve worked on many projects in York.  As some of the most experienced architects working in York, we’ve been involved in projects on Grade 1 and Grade 2 listed building, in Conservation areas, World Heritage Sites and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
