Architectural Services North Leeds

At Horsley Townsend Architects we are a RIBA chartered architect practice with many years of experience of working on diverse projects in the North Leeds area.  We specialise in a variety of architectural work: from complete house refurbishments and home extensions, house remodelling and the building of new houses, through to the design of retail, units, offices and cultural buildings.

We understand that undertaking any building project – no matter how small – can seem like a daunting prospect; clients living in North Leeds can relax in the knowledge that we have established our expertise by working on a diverse range of projects, including the renovation and restoration of Grade I and Grade II listed buildings, along with the design of inspiring, contemporary building solutions.

The areas we’ve worked in are as varied as the Yorkshire landscape and have included urban and conservation areas, Greenbelt land, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

We strongly believe that an innovative, fresh approach is necessary for every project and will begin by meeting you at your property to have a chat and talk through ideas.  There is no charge for this part of our services and after our first meeting we’ll send you a written quote outlining our project fees.

We divide the way that we work into four rough stages with the first stage being up to the submission of a valid planning application.  The submission of a building regulations application forms stage two, whilst stage three is the preparation of detailed construction drawings and other relevant documentation.  Once we’ve prepared construction drawings, they can be used by you to obtain quotes from builders.

The final stage is the provision of our assistance whilst your project is being constructed.

We work to the standard RIBA appointments which means that our clients have the flexibility to appoint us for just one, or as many of the stages outlined above.
